ABOUT VANESSA BROWN
Vanessa Brown is the owner of Kansas City's longest running independent vintage VW shop, Brown's Automotive.
Brown's Automotive was founded in 1980 by Volkswagen guru and highly respected mechanic, Danny Brown. She is
the daughter of Danny Brown and began working at Brown's full time in 2014, and then became the owner in 2024
after the devastating loss of Danny Brown. She is a strong supporter of women's rights and feminism and is an
extremely powerful businesswoman, VW expert, and much more. Vanessa Brown is a perfect leader and an amazing
role model for women everywhere.
